Passenger announces The Staves, John Smith, Ber and Chris Simmons as supports for his major open air UK show, set to take place at Hove Park, Brighton on Sunday 6th September 2026.
The performance marks a significant moment in Passenger’s live return, bringing him back to the South Coast for a unique outdoor show following years of global touring success.
Joining Passenger at Hove Park will be an exceptional line-up of singer-songwriters. Indie-folk trio The Staves bring their celebrated sibling harmonies and critically acclaimed catalogue, returning with their latest album All Now. British folk guitarist John Smith has spent two decades at the forefront of the UK folk scene, amassing more than 125 million Spotify streams and sharing stages with artists including Joan Baez, Jackson Browne and David Gray. Rising alt-pop and country artist Ber joins the bill following the release of her debut album Good, Like It Should Be, having built a rapidly growing international following through a string of acclaimed EPs. Completing the line-up is Worthing singer-songwriter Chris Simmons, who has toured with Sir Tom Jones, Paloma Faith and Simply Red, and recently became the first unsigned artist to achieve a UK Christmas Top 10 with his independently released single A Cold December.
Returning to the city where his journey began, the show represents a full-circle moment for Passenger (aka Mike Rosenberg), who first built his audience busking on local streets before going on to achieve worldwide recognition.
Now one of the UK’s most celebrated independent artists, Passenger is a multi award-winning, multi platinum-selling singer-songwriter. He recently marked a decade since the release of his seminal album ‘All The Little Lights’, featuring the global hit ‘Let Her Go’ – a track that soared to #1 in 19 countries and remains one of the most Shazamed songs of all time, with billions of streams worldwide. He is a Brit Award nominee, recipient of an Ivor Novello Award for Most Performed Work and recent Olivier Musical Awards nominee for his work on the hit musical ’The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry’.
As an independent artist Passenger has released 16 studio albums and toured extensively worldwide – evolving from intimate street performances to headlining major arenas and winning the hearts of a global fanbase.
