GLASGOW IS JUST THE TICKET THIS SUMMER!
With summer fast approaching and TRNSMT taking over Glasgow next month, festival organisers have today revealed an exclusive festival meet and greet competition with headliners Biffy Clyro, along with plans for Smirnoff House and street food to get fans really excited for three days of festival fever over 7th-9th July 2017.
In celebration of their only Scottish show this year, Biffy Clyro are offering TRNSMTfans a chance to meet the band at the festival in Glasgow Green on 9th July. The exclusive competition will allow one lucky fan and a friend to meet and greet the band before they take to the stage for their headline show. Everyone who purchases a TRNSMT ticket which includes attendance on the Sunday* before Monday 5th June at 11:59 PM will be automatically entered. Those who have already purchased a TRNSMTticket which includes attendance on the Sunday* will also be automatically entered into the draw.
Across the three days of TRNSMT, Biffy Clyro are joined by fellow headliners Radiohead and Kasabian, and supported by an award-winning line-up including The 1975, Catfish and the Bottlemen, London Grammar, Two Door Cinema Club, Blossoms, Rag‘n’Bone Man, George Ezra, The Kooks, Stormzy and more.
TRNSMT are delighted to announce the addition of Smirnoff House to this year’s event. The Smirnoff House will offer a selection of Smirnoff cocktails as well as DJs all day long. More details about Smirnoff House will be revealed in the coming weeks, and it marks another fantastic addition to this year’s TRNSMT line-up.
In what will be a true celebration of all things tasty, a selection of some of Glasgow’s most delicious street food trucks will park up in Glasgow Green for TRNSMT weekend, bringing delicious offerings from around the globe.
The perfect place to relax and take in the epic festival vibes, foodies can get their hands on nutritious cuisine from Glasgow’s Martha’s who are famous for their hearty and healthy fast food. From salads, juices, curries and more, Martha’s are sure to put a smile on the face of hungry festival-goers this summer.
Babu Bombay Street Kitchen is known for mouthwatering family recipes and home-style cooking, creating delicious Indian treats from seasonal and fresh ingredients. The Crema Caravan will bring an edge to the street food trucks at this year’s TRNSMT,offering irresistible crème brûlée treats to the green!
Nomad Glasgow are experts at creating truly delectable wood fired Italian pizzas with high quality toppings to suit every taste. Lovingly cooked in their authentic wood fire oven, Nomad Glasgow is the perfect addition to the street truck massive at this year’s festival. Finally, looking after all the veggies and vegans will be Goodness Gracious who are connoisseurs at outdoor street food and have been since 1989. With a simple ethos that the best ingredients, skillfully combined, make amazing food, we’re delighted to welcome Goodness Gracious street food to this year’s event.
Fans can get a glimpse of the festival site for the first time with the release of the map of the new TRNSMT site. Set to takeover one of Glasgow’s much-loved parks, TRNSMT’sGlasgow Green home will feature brilliant stages of music and thousands of fans over three days this summer.
And as if that wasn’t enough, fans can now download the TRNSMT festival app on Apple and Android to help plan your festival in advance. The app is a hub of information at your finger tips, regularly updated with everything you need to know about this year’s festival.
