TOM JONES MAKES TRIUMPHUNT RETURN TO
SUMMER NIGHTS AT THE BANDSTAND
Following his remarkable show in 2016, which sold out in a matter of minutes, Regular Music today announces that legendary icon Tom Jones, will take to the stage again on Saturday 5th August as part of this year’s Summer Nights at the Bandstand. Tickets go on sale Friday 3rd March at 9am from www.ticketmaster.co.uk.
Mark Mackie, director of Regular Music, said earlier today, “We are delighted to announce the return to the Bandstand of the legand that is Sir Tom Jones. Sir Tom is one of the greatest stage performers that the world has ever seen and now we have another chance to see him “up close” in this historic amphitheatre on the banks of the River Kelvin.
The public response to this year’s Summer Nights at the Bandstand has been phenomenal, with Texas (1 and 2 Aug), Brian Wilson (3 Aug), Pixies (7 and 8 Aug), and Hipsway (12 Aug) all selling out within hours of going on sale. Be quick when tickets go on sale on Friday at 9am or you will be disappointed.”
Tom is indeed a living legend, one of the few musical artists whose profession began at the dawn of modern popular music who continues to have a vital recording and performing career to this day. His irresistible show traverses musical eras and genres, cuts across class divides and appeals to all ages, male and female, mainstream and cutting edge. Tom has always been about the power of the song, the power of the voice.
