The talk of everyone in the music industry right now and one of the UK’s hottest new stars, Lewis Capaldi is the latest addition to TRNSMT’s growing festival line-up. He is set to play the King Tut’s Stage powered by Utilita on Sunday 9th July.
After racking up more than 8 million Spotify plays in a few weeks, Lewis Capaldi is garnering new fans and praise globally. With fans across the world covering his single ‘Bruises’ on Youtube, Lewis Capaldi is a truly gifted young singer-songwriter from Bathgate in West Lothian.
It was only in May 2016 that Lewis Capaldi played his first ever headline show in King Tut’s, and has gone on to play to over 5,000 in Hamburg on 1st June supporting fellow TRNSMT artist Rag’n’Bone Man, so his addition to the King Tut’s Stage powered by Utilita is a true reflection of his talent and buzz on a global scale.
Lewis Capaldi will join the likes of Tom Grennan, Clean Cut Kid, The Amazons, Declan McKenna, Vukovi, JR Green on the King Tut’s powered by Utilita stage on Sunday 9thJuly.
The King Tut’s Stage powered by Utilita already boasts an incredible line-up of talent from around the globe including The Amazons who’ve blown away music critics at the recent Great Escape Festival, as well as dropping their hot debut album last week to rave reviews. Liverpool’s Louis Berry is also on the King Tut’s Stage powered by Utilitabill after a recent rapturous return to Glasgow a few short weeks ago, creating a massive impression on the sold-out King Tut’s crowd.
Just last week, event organisers uncovered a raft of new event plans including the addition of Smirnoff House which is set to bring the freshest cocktails and DJs to the Glasgow Green festival. TRNSMT also unveiled an exciting new app which is available for free download on Apple and Android, as well as revealing the first of all the delicious street food vendors who will be at the festival. You can download the app via Apple ( http://apple.co/2rtX83R) and Android ( http://bit.ly/2qBq0nn) links.
Fans can also get a glimpse of the festival site for the first time with the release of the map of the brand new TRNSMT site. Set to takeover one of Glasgow’s much-loved parks, TRNSMT’s Glasgow Green home will house brilliant stages of music and thousands of fans over three days this summer.
