SUPER-YACHT LAUNCH PARTY ON LOCH NESS + TENSNAKE & ELI AND FUR ADDED TO GROOVE FESTIVAL LINE-UP!
Groove Festival, the UK’s newest dance festival on the banks of Loch Ness, are celebrating the 1st year of the festival in style, with a launch party on Cruise Loch Ness’s flagship cruiser, “The Legend of Loch Ness!”.
Dougie Brown, one of the festival’s founders says: “to thank all of the people who have supported the festival and already bought their tickets, we have teamed up with Cruise Loch Ness to put on a very special 1-off super-yacht party on Loch Ness!”
The exclusive party, for 60 people, will take place on the 27th June. “To show our thanks, we will select and notify winners from those who have bought their festival tickets on or before the 12th June. To be in with a chance of joining the party with two friends of your choice, all you have to do is to have bought your Groove ticket – either online or a paper ticket.” All details of the Boat Party can be found on the festivals website.
In addition to the boat party announcement, Groove have also added two new internationally renowned artists to their line-up today.
German DJ and producer Marco Niemerski aka TENSNAKE is the latest addition to the bill. Having made his name with the huge 2010 dancefloor smash hit ‘Coma Cat’, he has since been in ever increasing demand. Seemingly effortlessly managing the elusive feat of marrying classic disco and house influences to a contemporary sound, Marco is in that very rare position where his music appeals equally to the biggest dancefloors, from Ibiza and Miami, and real chin-stroking aficionados. All of which has gained him a solid reputation as a producer’s producer. His music effortlessly transcends genres, and the Groove founders are looking forward to the ‘Keep On Talking” EP release slated for next month on his own imprint True Romance.
Also joining the line-up are London’s ELI & FUR. Named as one of Beauport’s ‘2015 Artists To Watch’, Eli & Fur have been perfecting a sound built around infectious, electronic melodies and seductive vocal lines that have been hypnotizing dance floors from London to Los Angeles.
The ladies already have festival gigs at Creamfields, Bestival, Leeds and Glastonbury to their credit along with tons of Ibiza sets, so maybe it should be less of a surprise and more of a sign that they were chosen to mix this season’s Space Ibiza compilation – along with the legend that is Carl Cox.
The duo’s debut track, ‘You’re So High’ reached the top 3 on Hype Machine and has since received nearly 2 million plays on YouTube.
Already announced and headlining the first outing is world-famous Electronic duo GROOVE ARMADA in an exclusive Scottish Festival appearance. With a career spanning 20 years GROOVE ARMADA have established themselves as one of the planet’s best loved and biggest selling dance acts.
Pioneering Belgian brothers David & Stephen Dewaele better known under their stage name 2 Many DJs also on a Scottish Festival exclusive are set to bring their electrifying performance to the festival, having proved themselves to be firm favourites in clubs and festivals throughout the UK.
