Could YOU be an internet stalker? Anyone could…

In Real Life [IRL] is the first Edinburgh Fringe show by the all female company tagged SHE-FI for their low-fi underground aesthetic. Based on a true story, a gal-next-door finds herself not as the victim of online perpetration but in the role of cat-fisher itself.

With technology at our fingertips, the internet can both manipulate or enhance human communication. Touching and humorous, IRLʼs exploration into modern behaviour is brought to life through staging relatable but private moments.

Dan Wilcox: “SHE-FI is an ambitious young company looking to blend movement and text to show our eerie but inexorable relationship with the internet.”(Rhum and Clay Theatre Company)

SHE-FI recently performed at Brixton East as part of the Anniversary Festival funded by the British Council and Youth in Action. Extracts of IRL were performed at the Battersea Arts Centre as part of the Freshly Scratched Festival and at Brick Lane’s ‘Cafe 1001’ with New X’d Out 6. SHE-FI also recently hosted a performance arts festival at the Nursery Theatre.
