IT’S TIME TO START THINKING ABOUT THOSE REGAL ROBES
We want everyone to dress up for the party! As a curtsey in the direction of a certain jubilee, the theme is ‘ROYALTY’ so let you imagination run riot: cruel king or gay queen; prince of darkness or pretty princess; crown, sceptre, frog or courtier; corgi, flunky or right royal rascal; court jester or Roman emperor; lion, unicorn or bold crusader; or Queen of Hearts ,or stolen tarts. But as usual, anything goes and if you want to do your own thing, don’t let us get in your way. There will be a cat walk show in the Venus Flytrap Palais on the Saturday afternoon and prizes for the best costumes across a range of categories. But more than anything, you make it such a party if you put on the style.

BBC ALBA
Watch live and exclusive coverage of the sold out Bella on BBC ALBA along with your hosts, Fiona MacKenzie, Niall Iain MacDonald and Sarah Cruickshank. They’ll be out and about looking at all things festival around the Belladrum site; bringing you highlights and live coverage from the Garden Stage, and inviting performers from The Hothouse Stage, The Grassroots Stage and The Seedlings Stage to swing by the Belladrum Barn and Campervan to give us their chat and acoustic sets. All this, topped with back stage interviews and banter. Fiona, Niall Iain and Sarah will also be joined live on set by some of the stars playing at Belladrum Festival 2012. BBC Gàidhlig’s Music and Events team is geared up for providing more great live festival coverage in 2012. We’ll be live on BBC ALBA on Friday 3rd August, 21:30-23:30 and Saturday 4th August, 21:30-23:30 with a look back on the whole event on Sunday 5th August, 22:30-00:00.
